Here we are on our "last date before kids". Oliver took me out to a romantic dinner at Spoon, my favorite restaurant. I am as big as a house and everyone was looking at us but man we had a great time. We didn't even just talk about the baby but actually talked on a variety of topics :). I had two doctors appointments on Friday and they went well. For the baby one the doctor said everything looked good and he is around 6 pound 3 ounces and 6 pounds 7 ounces...but I just don't think you every really know, so we'll see. And the doctor said he is 200% sure it is a boy, which is also good and funny. The other appointment was for me and everything is fine. I am a bit swollen but not too bad. It is really great because the clinic got a new nurse practioner who can actually come out to the house to help me if needed after the baby comes, which is wonderful! She is from Britain and so it'll be great to speak English. I also found out that the doctor who is recommended to do the circumcision works at our clinic once a week, which is also great news. Other than that I am just washing some of Thomas' stuff, cleaning b/c my mom comes in next week and we are waiting for this little one. Oliver can't stop talking to him and is already giving him advice on how to handle his mother :). I am hoping we'll go anyday now to have him, but the doctor was not so sure. He said it'll be around the 5th of Oct, so we'll see (maybe it will be on your bday Alice!). Thanks for the prayers!

Baby Thomas' room
Here it is Baby Thomas' room. Oliver did a great job of painting and putting up the pictures, light fixtures, putting together the crib, etc. I just put up the toys, crib stuff and organized. He barely let me do anything b/c he didn't want me to hurt myself (or topple over b/c I am just a bit front heavy at this point). His room only took us 8 weeks to do! :) Here I am in my 38th week lookin' pregnant and ready to pop.

Baby due soon! :)
Welcome to Baby Thomas' very own blog. A few of my friends have a "baby only" blog and I thought it was a good idea...so here we go!
Today we went to the doctor and Thomas is now in the middle of his 37th week in my belly. We had a small false alarm again, but the doctor now sounds everything is fine. Oliver was so cute this time and seriously gitty when we thought that Thomas was being born. I wish you could see it - he is so excited! The students say everyday he brings up the miracle of becoming a parent! Anyway, the doctor said my body is just getting ready for labor and delivery - yikes! :) Sorry about the weird photo, but Oliver is at school and I had to take it myself...get what you get, huh? I am as big as a house but so thankful to be this far. We got to see Thomas on the ultrasound today at the doctors and he is so big (and I mean EVERYTHING seems so big!). Just a few more weeks till we get to meet him, but already I feel such a deep connection to him. I can't imagine sending him anyway but to his room - never overseas or even to college! Praise God we can take it one day at a time. Thomas moves around the most at night time, which I think is typical, but often moves around a lot when he (and his mama) is hungary. We now have most of his room ready to go, just finishing up some last minute laundry and Robyn and Oliver are supposed to help me set up the rest of the room tonight (the frames, etc). All the bags are packed ready for the hospital and now we just wait (thank you Whittington for letting us "borrow" the Office, the laughter is getting me to relax:). What a miracle it is this little child and to think God's planned it all without mistake. We miss you guys so much. I am putting together another family book (thanks to Samantha for already having two finished for us!) for Baby Thomas to look through so you can all know we are going to work on knowing you even when we are overseas. Love you all very much! We'll keep you posted :)
